Description This article describes the MIB file required to get the FortiDDoS B/E/F-Series SNMP Interface Statistics.
Scope

FortiDDoS B/E series – 4.x, 5.x version, FortiDDoS F series – 6.x version.

Solution

The standard IF-MIB is suitable only for the Mgmt ports on FortiDDoS since the FortiDDoS traffic ports have no IP addresses.

To poll for status and traffic information on the traffic ports, import the FORTINET-CORE-MIB and FORTNET-FORTIDDOS-MIB and look for the fddPorts folder as shown below.

This MIB also includes the full list of Attack trap information available.

The FORTNET-FORTIDDOS-MIB is normally found with the firmware Release in the support.fortinet.com download folders. A transfer issue may have resulted in the MIB folder being omitted from later Release folders, which are being updated.

If the Release folder does not contain the MIB, navigate to the FortiDDoS B/E Release folders and check Release 5.4.2 – the MIB there is current (Refer to the screenshot added below).
