| Solution |
For FortiDDOS B/E series, there is no strict password policy except that there should be a non-empty password, which must be changed when the admin account is set up. That means no minimum length, no password expiration, or character complexity requirements.
For example, when the device is factory reset or a new device is powered on, the device will ask to change the password as it is an empty password field.
Note: There is one requirement, though: no admin user can be created without a password.
