FortiConverter's license file uses the hardware id. generated for the PC it is installed on, and the serial number.Solution
When the FortiConverter is first registered, the hardware id. must be entered in order to generate the license file, which is then downloaded to the FortiConverter to activate the subscription-dependent features.
The license file can be viewed from the assets tab in the support portal.
If the software is moved to a new PC, or virtual machine, then the hardware id. changes, therefore the license file must be updated.
Contact customer service, providing the new hardware id. and serial number, to request a new license file to be generated. It is recommended to create a Customer Service ticket using the Support Portal (Assistance > Create a Ticket > Customer Service > Submit Ticket).
