Description

This article describes an issue related to the viewing of logs in the FortiGate Cloud Premium Portal.

Solution

When verifying the logs directly in the FortiGate, the timezone can be seen being correctly displayed in the 'Date/Time' field:

However, when verifying directly in the FortiGate Cloud Premium portal, the timezone was not automatically converted to the user timezone. In this example, GMT+1. Instead, it was shown in a timezone 8 hours behind.

Currently, in the Premium portal, there is no timezone selection and the timezone is not automatically converted to the user`s browser timezone. This feature is present in the FortiAnalyzer, for example. At present, the Premium portal`s timezone is shown as the Pacific Time Zone.


The FortiGate Cloud R&D team has already addressed the issue and the fix for this problem is expected to a new FortiGate Cloud server`s upgrade, expected in September.
