Starting from FortiLAN Cloud version 21.3 a new FortiAP/FortiSwitch subscription model has been introduced that gave the freemium and paid subscriptions.
Networks that were deployed during the upgrade and networks and site numbers exceeding the thresholds were given a grace period of 1-year to the customers/partners before the paid tier is fully enforced.
In regards to that team Fortinet would like to inform all that the freemium license grace period of 1 year is set to terminate on 11th September 2022.
It is recommended that customers/partners who were using the freemium services purchase/renew device licenses to continue using the FortiLAN cloud and avoid service disruptions which may happen for the devices that cross the allowed freemium limit.
