This article describes how to enable/disable summary reports in FortiEdge Cloud and FortiGate Cloud. FortiEdge Cloud (FortiLAN Cloud) is a unified management platform for standalone FortiAP and FortiSwitch deployments and provides configuration management and monitoring control for a handful of devices and can scale up to thousands of devices across multiple sites.
FortiGate Cloud is a cloud-based software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform that provides management, reporting, and analytics for FortiGate next-generation firewalls. |

| Solution |
FortiEdge Cloud: Access the FortiEdge Cloud portal by logging into: support.fortinet.com Select Services - > Under Cloud Management, select 'FortiEdge Cloud'.
If FortiEdge Cloud has not been configured yet, Select Networks -> Combined Default.
Select Reports -> Summary Reports -> Schedule.
This is where reports can be scheduled. Reports can be scheduled daily, weekly or monthly and reports can be sent to a specified email.
Select Apply to apply the settings. It is possible to receive the Summary Report even if there is no data, resulting in an empty report. To prevent empty reports from being generated, first select Report Settings. This is the gear icon in the top right corner of the page.
Uncheck the 'Generate empty report even though there is no data' option. Select Apply.
For more information, see the introduction.
