Description This article describes which points to check when the FortiClient endpoint is not receiving profile configuration changes from FortiClient EMS.
Scope Forticlient EMS, FortiClient.
Solution
  1. Make sure the FortiClient Endpoint is connected to FortiClient EMS by Telemetry.

  1.  Locate the endpoint's policy to confirm the profile selected is correct.

  1. Access to profile, double-check if the configuration desired is set, and always save the changes.

 

The example below shows a change at the 'Default' web filter profile, enabled Safe Search:

  1. Configuration changes can take some time (the telemetry sync period defaults to 60 seconds), so wait at least for the next telemetry synchronization and check the sync icon is in a green state which confirms changes are applied.
