This article describes the issue of FortiClient' pop-up: 'You are making changes to your Certificate Trust Settings'.

Solution

The issue occurs when the MAC is rebooted, and the following pop-up will appear after inputting the credential for credentials to sign into the Mac:

Validate the following:

The Full disk access permissions are provided.
ZTNA is disabled.
FortiClient certificates have to be always trusted.

If the issue continues, this could match the BUG 1122887. This BUG is solved in 7v7.2.9 and 7v7.4.4.
