The screenshot below shows that the 'Shutdown FortiClient' option is greyed out:
To enable it, log in to FortiClient Management Server (EMS) under Endpoint Profiles -> System Settings -> Select and Edit the Profile that is configured for the Endpoint:
Enable 'Allow User to Shutdown When Registered to EMS' and Save :
Afterwards, the 'Shutdown FortiClient' option will be available for FortiClient:
Note: This feature is only available for FortiClient (Windows), and the user must have admin privileges to shut down FortiClient. |
