Technical Tip: How to save username in FortiClient SAML authentication page

Description	This article describes how to save a username in the FortiClient SAML auth page when using the FortiClient embedded browser.
Scope	FortiClient 7.2.6 and above.
Solution	Enable the 'show remember password option' in the assigned FortiClient VPN profile. Go to EMS console -> Endpoint Profiles -> the assigned VPN profile -> the XML tab and make the following change: Set the following: <use_gui_saml_auth>0</use_gui_saml_auth> Go to the endpoint FortiClient GUI -> Settings and select the 'Clear Cookies' button. Note: Sometimes there are bad cookies, which causes the remember password option to not work properly. It is therefore necessary to perform this step every time there is an issue relating to the FortiClient embedded browser.
