Description
This article describes how to install Forticlient EMS on Mac OS and the full disk access required.
Scope
MacOS versions Big Sur (11), Monterey(12), Ventura(13).
Solution
1) Create an Installation Package for MacOS in the Forticlient EMS console.
2) Download, extract and mount the installation package recently created into the MacOS system.
3) Start the normal installation procedure.
Allow FortiTray to add VPN connections
Open Security Preferences.
Allow FortiTray and FortiClientNetwork.
Access to Privacity and Enable Full Disk Access for:
- fctservctl2.
- FortiClient.
- fcaptmon.
- fmon.
- fmon2.
- FortiGuardAgent.
Located in:
/Library/Application\ Support/Fortinet/FortiClient/bin/
Also, enable Full disk access for:
- FortiClientAgent,
Located in:
/Applications/FortiClient.app/Contents/Resources/runtime.helper
