This article describes how to install FortiClient and connect FortiClient with FortiClient EMS in Linux Debian OS

Solution
1) Run the command “# apt install ./forticlient_6.2.2.0297_amd64.deb” and the output as below will be displayed:

Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree      
Reading state information... Done
Note, selecting 'forticlient' instead of './forticlient_6.2.2.0297_amd64.deb'
The following packages were automatically installed and are no longer required:
  geoip-database-extra javascript-common libjs-openlayers libwireshark8 libwiretap6 libwscodecs1 libwsutil7
Use 'apt autoremove' to remove them.
The following NEW packages will be installed:
  forticlient
0 upgraded, 1 newly installed, 0 to remove and 1 not upgraded.
Need to get 0 B/85.6 MB of archives.
After this operation, 369 MB of additional disk space will be used.
Get:1 /home/fortinet/forticlient_6.2.2.0297_amd64.deb forticlient amd64 6.2.2.0297 [85.6 MB]

2) Once FortiClient is installed, FortiClient GUI will show up as below:

3) Put in the EMS IP address and it will connect with the FortiClient EMS
