Description This article describes how to create the secondary admin user and assign the permission role in the EMS Cloud.
Scope EMS Cloud.
Solution
  1. The EMS Cloud primary administrator (the user who created the FortiClient Cloud instance) can add secondary administrators from their FortiCloud account. To do so, follow the steps belowAdding a secondary admin account.

  2. The secondary is only a 'Restricted' permission role when added into EMS. Thus, the EMS console will not display all menu panes and settings as the same super Administrator.

Sample:

Versus:

Restricted Administrator.

Restrict admin.PNG

To resolve this, request that the Primary EMS Cloud Administrator log in to the EMS console and change the permission role.

Log in to EMS --> Administration--> Admin user--> Select user name--> Edit--> Select the desired Role.
