Description This article describes how to confirm which policy has the FortiClient Endpoint assigned from FortiClient EMS.
Scope Forticlient EMS, FortiClient Endpoint.
Solution

Before making any modification to the FortiClient Endpoint profile, make sure which policy has the endpoint assigned and then modify the profile desired.

 

  1.  Go to 'All Endpoint' and look for the name of the user's endpoint.
  2. Check the policy name it is assigned.

  1. After the policy name is identified, go to Endpoint Policy & Components -> Manage Policies and see which profiles are assigned to such policy.

  1. Go to the correct profile and modify it.

The example below locates the Firewall profile after confirming the endpoint has such profile assigned (Default):

Note:

Always make sure the policy is in sync (green icon) in order to confirm the endpoint has the profile setting applied.
