Solution |
Even though the filter extension has been enabled and installed correctly, if there are still continuous error messages like 'Microsoft Edge extension policy anomaly detected, please restart browser'.
Try the following workaround.
Open the settings in the Microsoft Edge.
Go to start, home, and new tabs.
Disable 'Preload your new tab page for a faster experience'.
Browse -> System and performance -> Disable Continue running background extensions and apps when Microsoft Edge is closed and Startup boost.
