Description This article describes that if cookies are blocked on the default browser, users using SAML for login may see cookie error on the browser popup.
Scope FortiClient.
Solution

If cookies are blocked, FortiClient users may see the below error during the login:

Process as below to fix it.

 

For Edge:

  • Go under Settings -> Advanced Settings -> Cookies -> Do not block cookies.
  • Go under Advanced privacy settings -> First-Party cookie-> Accept (In case Third-party cookies are not allowed due to Organization policies).

For Internet Explorer:

  • Go under Tools -> Internet Options -> View advanced settings -> Cookies -> Do not block cookies.

For Chrome:

  • Go under Settings -> Advance settings -> Privacy>Content settings -> Cookies -> Allow local data to be set.

For Firefox:

  • Go under Options -> Privacy -> History, accept cookies from the site, accept third-party cookies and select Always.
