Description This article describes how to disable the Disconnect button when using the Auto Connect VPN feature.
Scope EMS v7.2.x and later
Solution

By default, when connecting to a VPN, the user will be able to select the Disconnect or Connect button in the FortiClient Console under the remote access Tab.

Example:

When enabling the feature 'Auto-connect', the Disconnect button setting can be disabled (hidden) from the FortiClient Console.

This can prevent the user from being able to disconnect the VPN and change the settings, e.g un-select auto-connect, un-select save the password, etc that display on the remote access setting in FortiClient Console.

In EMS GUI:

In EMS XML:

After disabling, the FortiClient Console will show:

To ensure this setting works properly, the user must successfully connect to the VPN at least once.
