Description This article describes how to disable the FortiClient EMS auto-upgrade feature.
Scope FortiClient EMS v7.2.8 and v7.4
Solution

Starting from FortiClient EMS v7.2.5, FortiClient EMS introduces an Auto upgrade EMS to latest patch release 7.2.5.

From FortiClient EMS v7.2.5 to v7.2.7, there was no option to disable this feature.

 

In FortiClient EMS v7.2.8, it added a new option was added to disable auto-upgrade. Go to EMS -> System Settings -> uncheck 'Let EMS schedule automatic upgrade' -> Save.

Notes:

  • By default, this 'Let EMS schedule automatic upgrade' option is enabled.
