Technical Tip: Disable FortiClient EMS auto-upgrade feature

Description This article describes how to disable the FortiClient EMS auto-upgrade feature.
Scope FortiClient EMS v7.2.8
Solution

Starting from FortiClient EMS v7.2.5, FortiClient EMS introduces auto-upgrade enhancement

From FortiClient EMS v7.2.5 to v7.2.7, there was no option to disable this feature.

 

In FortiClient EMS v7.2.8, it added a new option to disable auto-upgrade. Go to EMS -> System Settings -> uncheck 'Let EMS schedule automatic upgrade' -> Save.

Note:

By default, this 'Let EMS schedule automatic upgrade' option is enabled.
