This article shows how FortiClient version 5.2.x can configure a Local ID without using the FortiClient VPN editor.
Solution
Step 1: Open FortiClient > edit the IPsec VPN tunnel (create new) >
Step 2: Select Advanced Settings.
Step 3: Select Phase1 under VPN settings.
Step 4: Enter local ID.
