Description	This article describes why FortiCASB Data Scan Status shows API Threshold Error.
Scope	FortiCASB.
Solution	The respective Cloud Application vendor have limitations or quotas on their respective API request frequency. This limits the number of files that the FortiCASB Data Scan process can handle via API request at a specific time and it will show the error when this limit is exceeded. This limitation is implemented by the respective Cloud Application vendor (not FortiCASB). However, FortiCASB has its internal mechanism that will adjust its API request frequency accordingly.
