Description |
This article describes how to fix the override user not working when using local admin. |
Scope |
FortiAuthenticator, FortiAuthenticator Windows Agent. |
Solution |
The override user works when using domain admin to log in to the system while not working when using local admin.
This issue was fixed on FortiAuthenticator Windows Agent v6.1. Then use domain\username format when logging in using the override user.
On FortiAuthenticator Windows Agent below v6.1, the workaround is to change the local realm name from '.' to any fake realm name on FortiAuthenticator Windows Agent under General -> Configure -> Offline -> Realms for Domains to fix this.
