Solution

Event ID 60000 describes that the FortiAuthenticator detected the power supply unit has altered its state. This Event ID includes both the status of 'OK' and 'empty' to reflect the operational state of the PSU.


The sample system event message(s) will be looked like below:

  1. When the PSU is 'OK':

General troubleshooting method for PSU status change:

  • Identify the symptom by looking at the PSU LED indicator, especially on the color.
  • Check the physical connection to ensure the power cable is securely connected.
  • Test with another PSU if possible.
  • Contact the Fortinet RMA team to replace the PSU if found faulty.
