Description |
This article describes that when importing remote users, the following warning might be displayed.
This is caused by an attribute length exceeding a max limit of 64 characters. |
Scope | FortiAuthenticator 6.X. |
Solution |
1) If the import is done manually, then simply ignore the warning or check in LDAP why the attribute exceeds 64 characters and address that. 2) If the import is done thru is sync rule and that particular attribute is not needed on FortiAuthenticator, the display name for instance, simply remove the corresponding attribute for the Display name on the sync rule, in this way, it will not be imported at all and no warning would be given.
