This article describes a case where an error was obtained when enabling OTP using SMS for imported LDAP users. In this case, the users receive the token code however the FortiToken will not be assigned to a user in FortiAuthenticator. |

Solution |
This error is observed from v6.6.1 as FortiGuard cannot send messages longer than 269 characters.

Workaround: Under Administration -> Replacement messages, modify the 'FortiToken Mobile Activation SMS Message' replacement message to a shorter string.
