The article describes how to import mac devices from a CSV file in the correct format.

Scope

FortiAuthenticator v6.x.x.

Solution

Go to Authentication -> User Management -> MAC Devices and select Import .

Select Upload a file:

After uploading the .csv file, it displays as follows:

The following error may appear when uploading the .csv file.

To resolve the error make sure that the CSV file is in the correct format, the device Name is in the first column, and the device MAC Address is in the second column. For example:
