This article describes how to configure a certificate expiry notification email on FortiAuthenticator to get a warning when a certificate is about to expire. |

| Solution |
It is possible to enable the option for 'warn when a certificate is about to expire' under Edit Certificate Expiry Settings: Certificate Management -> Policies -> Certificate Expiry.
An email will be sent to the configured email address to warn the administrator about the certificate expiry when the configured number of days ( default 7 days) before the expiration is left.
Note: Make sure SMTP settings are correctly configured to send an email otherwise no notification email will be sent. |
