This article describes how to assign a Mobile Token (FortiToken) to a user on FortiPAM.

Solution
Before assigning a Token to a user, it is better to check the FortiToken list through User Management -> FortiTokens and make sure the dedicated token is available to be assigned.
To start with a Token assignment, go to the user list through User Management -> User List and open user details. After that, enable the 'Two-Factor Authentication' option and select one of the tokens from the drop-down list.
Note:
Fill in the email address box as it will be needed for receiving an activation code.
Enable 'Send Activation Code' for FortiPAM to send the activation code to the specified email address and save it.
Note:
The 'Send Activation Code' option will not be visible until an email is specified in the ]Email Address' section as mentioned above.
The activation code will be sent to the specified email address. Afterward, the received QR-code needs to be scanned by a mobile phone to activate the token. After activating the Token on a mobile phone, the token assignment can be verified by going to the user list and hovering over 'FortiToken'.
