Technical Tip: Captive Portal Policy on FortiAuthenticator

Description

 

This article describes how to create a Captive Portal Policy on FortiAuthenticator.

 

Scope

 

FortiAuthenticator v6.4.5.

 

Solution

 

Version 6.4.5:

 

  1. Go to Authentication -> Portals -> Policies. No option for Captive Portal.

  1. Access the URL manually https://<FortiAuthenticator IP:

     

 

address>/admin/guest/captiveportalpolicy/.

Version 6.4.6:

 

Go to Authentication -> Portals -> Policies, select 'Captive Portal'.
