Description

 

This article describes how to upload a custom certificate to the FortiAuthenticator. This certificate is used to access the FortiAuthenticator.

 

Scope

 

FortiAuthenticator.


Solution

 

  1. Upload the custom .crt and .key to the FortiAuthenticator under Certificate Management -> End Entities -> Local Service.

  1. Once uploaded, it should be possible to see what is the available cert under Certificate Management -> End Entities -> Local Services.

  2. Then choose the certificate 'TestCorp' under Administration -> GUI Access -> HTTPS certificate.

  3. Once choosing the new certificate, the FortiAuthenticator will restart to apply the new certificate settings.

  4. When accessing the FortiAuthenticator using HTTPS, it should show the certificate being used.
