Description

This article describes how to troubleshoot when the File System status shows 'Unknown'.

Scope FortiAnalyzer, FortiManager.
Solution

The picture below shows the File System status 'Unknown' when executing the CLI command:

 

get system status

This issue usually occurs when only a single virtual hard disk is configured in the FortiAnalyzer/FortiManager VM.

 

At least one extra virtual hard disk must be added (ideally over 500 GB) before starting the FortiAnalyzer/FortiManager VM.

Once the step above is completed, run the command below again to confirm the File System Status:

 

get system status
