Description This article describes how to enable Full_Access rights in FortiAnalyzer-Cloud instance.
Scope FortiAnalyzer Cloud.
Solution

Prerequisites:

  1. The user has a device with an available FortiAnalyzer Cloud item. (See Licensing for FortiAnalyzer-Cloud.)
  2. The user has already created the FortiAnalyzer Cloud instance in the same account of the device with the available license feature. (See the Cloud deployment guide.)
  3. The user has access to the FortiAnalyzer Cloud instance with an administrator account.

Context: Sometimes when specific issues or events appear in a FortiAnalyzer Cloud instance, the cloud management team requests to enable Full_Access to have the rights with full privileges to perform the troubleshooting. By default, the Service Maintenance option is Enabled.

To change the access settings, select the arrow near 'account details' (in the top right)and navigate to Privacy & Notifications -> Access Settings -> Full Access.

Differences between options:

Service Maintenance (Recommended): Fortinet's cloud operation team can access diagnostic data and perform maintenance operations on the cloud instance. However, the team only has access to system-level data and does not access personal data like logs, reports, or device configurations. This level ensures the smooth operation of services.

Full Access: Fortinet personnel can access the account with full privileges for support services, including personal data such as logs, reports, and device configurations for troubleshooting.

No Access: The most restrictive control, where Fortinet personnel has no access to your cloud instance. With no access, the cloud operation team cannot access diagnostic data or perform maintenance tasks, and the smooth operation of the service cannot be guaranteed when this level is selected.
