Technical Tip: How to extract the FortiAnalyzer/FortiManager system configuration from the backup file

Description	This article describes how to extract the FortiAnalyzer/FortiManager system configuration from the backup file.
Scope	FortiAnalyzer, FortiManager.
Solution	The user can extract the FortiAnalyzer/FortiManager system configuration from a backup file (.dat file) that is not encrypted with a password by using any 3rd party files archiver tools such as WinRAR or 7zip. The system config will be a text file and it can be extracted by opening the backup file (.dat file) via the file archiver tool and navigating to the directory '\var\fwclienttemp\'.
