Technical Note: Non-root ADOM user cannot access CLI in FortiAnalyzer

Description

This article provides a solution for where trying to load an image or execute an HQIP test returns the following error:

"Non-root ADOM user cannot access CLI" 

Scope

FortiAnalyzer

Solution

The issue is related that to the account admin not being assigned to the root ADOM.

Execute the following commands:

# config system admin user
# edit admin
# set adom root
# end

The user should now be able to execute HQIP images or reinstall/upgrade images.
