This article provides a solution for when no hostnames are seen on the FortiAnalyzer under Log View despite resolved host names being enabled on the FortiGate.
- Go to Log View > Column Settings > More
Columns - From
the list, check Host
Name. - The
resolved hosts should now be displayed under the Host Name column.
If there are no host names for HTTPS traffic, then
enable SSL inspection on the firewall policy in order to see host names
for HTTPS traffic.
