Scope All FortiGate models.
Solution
  1. Some low-end models may have wireless and switch controllers disabled by default or on higher models, an administrator can disable both features or hide those using the visibility feature GUI Menu.

  2. Refer to the Admin guide to verify the configuration.

  3. Check if the Admin Profile for the login user has WiFi & Switch Permissions.

NOTE: To enable the 'Switch Controller' and "WiFI Controller" features in the GUI, go to System -> Feature Visibility -> select the 'Switch Controller' and 'WiFI Controller' options in the 'Core Features' section, then select 'Apply' at the bottom of the screen.

NOTE: To enable the "Switch Controller" and "WiFI Controller" features in the CLI, use the below commands...

config system settings
FGT_3 (settings) # set gui-wireless-controller enable
FGT_3 (settings) # set gui-switch-controller enable
FGT_3 (settings) # end

The 'WiFi & Switch Controller' feature will now be visible as a GUI feature.
