Description

This article describes why it is impossible to delete or classify specific FortiAPs, that are listed under the Rogue

APs list in FortiGate GUI.

Scope Rogue AP, Wireless Troubleshooting.
Solution
  • If any FortiAPs are set as Rogue AP and classified as Suppressed FortiAP by someone manually then those FortiAPs cannot be deleted from the Rogue AP list in FortiGate GUI using the 'reset' option.
  • The following is the command to delete the FortiAPs manually from the CLI of the FortiGate.

config wireless-controller ap-status
purge

This operation will clear all table!
