Description
This article explains how to manage FortiAPs as standalone mode (HTTP, HTTPS, SSH, Telnet) after upgrading to firmware 5.4.x or above.

Solution
After adopting FortiAPs on FortiGate controller, the standalone administration on FAPs is disabled by default.

To enable the standalone administration, execute the following CLI commands on FortiGate:
# config wireless-controller wtp-profile
edit FAP-Profile-default                                                      <------(Edit the profile to which the AP is assigned)

set allowaccess http https ssh telnet

end
