Description	This article describes the steps to identify and download the appropriate firmware for the FortiAP, based on the specific model.
Scope	Applies to all FortiAP devices.
Solution	Follow the steps below to download the correct firmware for the FortiAP: Log in to the Support Portal: Visit the Fortinet Support site and log in using the username and password. Navigate to the Firmware Download Section: Go to Support -> Firmware Download. Select the FortiAP Product Based on Your Model: FortiAP: For F and G series APs (e.g., FAP-xxxF, FAP-xxxG). FortiAP-C: For FAP-C24JE models. FortiAP-S: For S series APs (e.g., FAP-Sxxx). FortiAP-U: For U series APs (e.g., FAP-UxxxF, FAP-UxxxEV). FortiAP-W2: For E series APs (e.g., FAP-xxxE). Select the Download Tab: Select the Download tab. Locate the Firmware Version: Navigate to the folder containing the firmware version desired to upgrade to.
