Description

This article explains why the FortiAP-221E, FortiAP-223E Gen3 model cannot broadcast DFS channels.

Scope

All FortiAP Wave 2 generation 3 models 221E, 223E.

Solution

FortiAP W2 model Gen3 with region code N (including country BR, MX) shows only these channels to use; no DFS channels are included.

The reason is that FortiAP Wave 2 generation 3 models do not support DFS certification.
