Description

FortiAP devices managed via FortiCloud can be configured with a FortiCloud Captive Portal.  SSID naming needs to be considered to ensure proper FortiCloud captive portal functionality.

Solution

When configuring a FortiAP device with a FortiCloud Captive Portal, the SSID should be named without any spaces.

For example, an SSID name of "Test-SSID" would allow a captive portal to work but an SSID name of "Test SSID" would not.
