Description
Sometimes it is not possible to discover a FortiAP when connected to a SW.

The following information is seen when entering via telnet to FortiAP:
#cw_diag show all
OUTPUT from command "cw_diag -c wtp-cfg ":
ac-ip-addr : 0.0.0.0:0,0 STATIC
This message indicates that the FortiAP does not know the IP address of the controller.

Solution
This could be configured directly in the FortiAP with the command:
#cfg –a AC_IPADDR_1="192.168.100.3"
#cfg -c

However, in using this option the changes may be lost when the FortiAP is restarted.

One way of not losing the changes is to enter via "HTTPS" on the FortiAP and configure according to the following image.
