Description | This article describes troubleshooting steps to check whether a PSU is faulty. |
Scope | FortiADC hardware. |
Solution |
PSU stands for Power Supply Unit. This component is mainly the one that is responsible for powering up the device.
Sometimes, the power unit does not behave as expected, and some event logs about the PSU will be received.
Some units come with a single PSU, while others have more than 1 PSU, which is helpful in scenarios where one PSU fails.
Below are the possible ways to check a power supply for FortiADC:
The PSU LED can have a different color, and each possible color has a different meaning. These details can be found in the QSG documents for the particular Model.
Below is the Output for a 1200°F unit example:

The main things to check are if the PSU is detected or not detected, or the Speed and Voltage.
