Troubleshooting Tip: 'AV engine meet error: exceed archive nested limit' message in AV Security Log

Description	This article describes what causes the error message and the option to fix it.
Scope	FortiADC and FortiADC VM.
Solution	FortiADC will log the error 'AV engine meet error: exceed archive nested limit' message in the AntiVirus Security Log when the FortiADC AntiVirus feature scans nested/zipped file that is being nested/zipped more than the number of times as per configured limit in the respective AntiVirus Profile. FortiADC provides an option to increase the nested limit. Go to Network Security -> AntiVirus -> Profile (Tab). Select the respective Antivirus profile. Edit the profile and modify the Uncomp Nest Limit accordingly. Note: Increasing the limit may reduce the FortiADC performance. Related document: Creating an AV profile
