What is the strategy for logging and reporting for FCT using EMS?
If this was a net new customer would we need to include a FAZ? Or can the EMS handle the logging and the reporting itself?

Yes, you need FAZ for central logging and reporting.

For some reason, when using EMS and setting up the profile for our workstations to log to FAZ, it never happens. I backup the configuration for the FortiClient and it shows that logging is supposed to go to FAZ but it doesn't, if I do a packet capture I never see traffic generated to FAZ.
Are you running FAZ v5.4 Beta build? FAZ v5.4 is required for EMS managed client logging.

I'm not running the Beta Version of FAZ, I'll sign up for the beta and get it installed. The documentation didn't state you need to have FAZ 5.4, so I thought something else was wrong. Thanks for the response.
