SNMP

we enable the SNMP on server 2016 , but the SNMP logs not received  or we don't know where the problem

Hi Moh,

SNMP is only for Discovery and Performance monitoring.

You'll also need to discover with WMI/OMI or use the Windows Agent if you want to get the logs in https://docs.fortinet.com/document/fortisiem/6.4.0/external-systems-configuration-guide/421011/micro...

Dear Mr. Daniel

 

I noted that the WMI Is working appropriately in the Windows server but in windows 10 I have noted that WMI not working but the SNMP is more useful and I don't know why the WMI not working in Windows 10 despite I following  the FortiSIEM datasheet to setup the WMI configuration, we have version 6.1
