I have a pair of ForiGate 30D-POE devices that I have not been able to configure. I have tried everything in the "getting started" book, but nothing succeeds.
Trying macOS 10.10, Windows 8.1, and Windows 10, I have tried the "Web Browser with Ethernet cable" method. Nothing ever responds on 192.168.1.99.
I tried the iPhone/Apple USB cable/FortiExplorer app. I can see the device, but the login always hangs.
I tried the USB/USB Management port method. The FortiGate device is recognized, but says "The drivers for this device are not installed (Code 28)". (Windows 10 and Windows 8.1)
I could use some help. (I'd call support, but these sat in a box for over a year and the initial support has expired).
