Greetings, I saw a content on vdom and found it very interesting, is this technology exclusive fortinet?

No, cisco firewalls has something similar called contexts. If you want to be even more generic it's basically called a VRF, virtual routing and forwarding, which was originally a router feature to create separate routing tables within the same router. Firewalls then continued on the same concept, Fortigate calls theirs vdoms.
