Fortimail to archive internal email

Hello,

Has anyone setup a fortimail for archiving with exchange 2013?  We have a fortimail in gateway mode in front of an exchange server.  Its currently able to archive email sent from and to external domains but internal email doesn't go through the fortimail so its not being picked up.  Can anyone help us get around this?

As of 5.3 FortiMail supports archiving of email from Exchange Journaling.  See p.629 of the FortiMail 5.3 admin guide entitled "Archiving email from Microsoft Exchange journaling".
