A colleague and I were recently having a discussion about LAG support on the entry-level FortiGates. Finding feature support on models can be time consuming when you are unsure where to look. I wanted to post this information with the intent of helping others out if they find themselves looking for the same information. This post is specific to the FortiOS GA software release 6.2.1. The following models support Link Aggregation:
FortiGate 30E
FortiWiFi 30E
FortiGate 50E
FortiWiFi 50E
FortiGate 60E
FortiWiFi 60E
FortiGate 80E
Feature support can be implemented in future FortiOS software releases. So if you don't see the entry-level FortiGate you are looking for on the list, Fortinet Systems Engineers have access to the internal info software distribution site which gets updated as new software releases are made available. You can check with your local SE and see if the feature was added to the FortiOS build your planning on running.
