Device site 1 cannot access device on site 2

I got this strange situation with 2 customers (not related to each other):

on Site 1 is hosted a Remote Desktop Server which sent print jobs to a printer on site 2, works perfect.

suddenly the RD server cannot access the printer anymore, no ping, no http, nothing... But the Domain controller can access the printer??

i changed the IP of the printer on site 2 and the RD server can access the printer on site 2.

all firewalls are 60E on site 1, and 30E on site 2. All firewalls have firmware 5.6.2

any ideas? thanks!
